A little more than a week has passed since our release, and the envious competitors are already showing themselves. 8 hours ago, a powerful DDoS attack was launched on the Telemetrio website. Our team quickly reacted to the incident and the problem was eliminated within 30 minutes.

The incident caused some failures in the work of the website, but for the majority it is again available. By the end of the day, the website will be 100% operational.

When the tension had subsided, we could recap on what had happened:

1) The incident forced us to quickly revise the server's security policy. We are aware and armed in case someone wants to repeat such an attack.

2) The Telemetrio team received a powerful boost of motivation to develop the service. We will use this burst of energy to generate ideas and create new features.

3) We are popular 😅 If someone does not like us, then they recognize our rapid growth. It is symbolic that today, we are proud to announce that the service has crossed the mark of 200,000 registrations! Hurray🥳

The active growth of the Telegram leads to the fact that the messenger start moderating and blocking channels with prohibited information more active than ever before.

According to the data collected by Telemetrio, the most blocked channels are mainly p*rn-related channels or channels that connected with copyrights (movies, music etc.).
Moreover, even communities with millions of subscribers gets banned. Among the 100 largest channels in Telegram, 10 are already blocked.

We have added service labels for verified and blocked channels. We recommend administrators to familiarize themselves with them in order to be aware of the possible reasons of blocking or the reasons for receiving the cherished verification approval from Telegram 💪

Recently, Telegram added statistics for the channel's publications. We decided to expand our functionality for analyzing content on the channel.

Today we have added:
- detailed post statistics. You can go to it by clicking on the statistics button on the post.
- convenient filters for publications. Filter by type, by release period and by post views.
- updated the visual appearance of deleted posts and reposts on the service.

To test these features, go to the posts tab on the channel page.

In today's update, we have integrated instructions on the adding channel page, also we accelerated the search and the speed of loading of this page.

If you have not connected your channel to the service yet, you should try our new interface, add your channels and use extensive channel analytics for free.

Pay attention!
1. You can connect a channel to a bot only if you are an administrator with the necessary rights for this channel.

2. Once you connect @telemetr_io_bot to the channel administrators and give it the necessary rights, the bot will additionally connect a user bot that collects channel statistics. Once statistics have been collected, the user bot will be removed from the list of administrators.

Today we present you the "channel crossing" function in the web version of the service. With this function, you can estimate how much the subscribers of the two channels overlap.

Note! You can check the intersection only in channels where the audience analysis was done earlier.
