Vandaag vond de Rondetafelbijeenkomst ‘Pension fund Governance onder Wet toekomst pensioenen’ plaats. Onder bezielende leiding van dagvoorzitter Fieke Van der Lecq werd een constructieve discussie gevoerd over de governance van pensioenfondsen vanaf de stelselwijziging, waar eerder dit jaar een gelijknamig paper over uitkwam. Na een inleiding op het onderwerp door Daniëlle Melis, Meike Bokhorst en Paulien Siegman ✯ werd aan vier tafels doorgepraat over het College van Belanghebbenden, de bestuurlijke competenties die onder de Wtp nodig zijn, het handelingsperspectief voor deelnemers, en het vergroten van diversiteit en inclusiviteit ten behoeve van evenwichtigheid met behulp van gespreksleiders Mila Hoekstra, Marco Brouwer, Catharien Hamerslag, en Derya Akbiyik-Gunaydin. De resultaten daarvan werden zowel plenair besproken door Fieke Van der Lecq, als informeel tijdens de afsluitende borrel. We kijken terug op een succesvol evenement en willen alle sprekers en deelnemers hartelijk bedanken voor hun constructieve bijdragen!

Netspar beoogt om de beschikbare kennis zo goed mogelijk toegankelijk te maken voor medewerkers van de Netspar partners en ruimte te bieden voor het inbrengen van nieuwe onderzoeksvragen. Er komt daarom binnenkort een geheel vernieuwde website en ook de kick-off van de Netspar kennisgroepen tijdenshet Pensioen en Wetenschap jaarcongreskrijgt een vervolg.Het onderzoek dat Netspar uitvoert en faciliteert, vindt plaats binnen de kaders van de NetsparKennisagenda.Het multidisciplinaire onderzoek wordt gecoördineerd in vijf programma’s:1.Welzijn en welvaart van ouderen2.Communicatie en kiezen3.Werk, pensioen, wonen en zorg4.Sparen, beleggen en verzekeren5.Instituties, governance en solidariteitKennisgroepenzijn een platform om per thema in de Netspar onderzoeksagenda bijgepraat te worden over Netspar onderzoek met de mogelijkheid om laagdrempelig vragen te stellen en mee te denken over nieuwe onderzoeksvragen.

Netspar en Pensioenfederatie organiseren samen een bijeenkomst met als onderwerp “Invulling nieuwe pensioencontracten en transitie.”Tijdens deze bijeenkomst gaan we in op de invulling van de nieuwe pensioencontracten en de transitie daarnaartoe.De doelgroep bestaat uit pensioenfondsbestuurders, maar ook uit leden van meebeslissers, zoals verantwoordingsorganen of deelnemersraden.

Netspar research meetings are aimed at academic researchers affiliated with Netspar and are intended as a platform to present and discuss recent research on a topic related to the broad area of aging, pensions, and retirement. These meetings also facilitate discussions of future research topics and potential collaborations. An online information session ahead of theNetspar Pension Day(Oct. 10, 2024 in Utrecht)Netspar, the Network for Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement, is dedicated to supporting the development of young scholars (PhD students, postdocs, assistant professors) that work in the broad domain of pensions, aging, and retirement. The Netspar Pension Day is our key academic event aiming to offer young scholars an opportunity to present their work for an audience of academics and practitioners in a supportive environment, and also to discuss other presentations and/or chair a session.Presenting, discussing & chairing are key skills in an academic’s toolkit, and require practice as well as taking into account explicit and implicit norms in the profession. Yet, it is not always easy to find good advice on how to do this. In a brief online session on September, 19 2024 13.00-13.45. Netspar scientific director Mathijs van Dijk will share his main tips on presenting, discussing & chairing, drawing from his own experience. There will also be room for questions.All interested young scholars in the Netspar network (whether attending the Pension Day or not) are welcome to attend.
